Translated from the Vivādārṇavasetu, a digest of Hindu law in 21 sections (taraṅga) compiled for Warren Hastings by the paṇḍits: Bāṇeśvara, Kṛipārāma, Rāma Gopāla, Kṛishṇajīvana, Vīreśvara, Kṛīshṇacandra, Guarīkānta, Kālīśaṅkaṙa, Ṡyāmasundara, Kṛishṇakeśava and Sītārāma. cf.
